We have HUGE news!! We have been offered a donation challenge. We desperately need to replace our white van. It's been a great first vehicle for us! Many many trips into St Louis, lots of miles on it now, and I think the wrap is what's holding the rust together. 😄
A GENEROUS anonymous donor has challenged us with matching their donation. They are willing to give us $20,000 towards a new van that is stand height, can have pallets loaded directly into it, and not be a worry of breaking down somewhere with a load of food!!! YAY
BUT, we need to MATCH IT! We need to raise $20,000 and will then they will match it with $20,000 for the new van!!! We need YOU now!!! PLEASE share the word, do a donation drive at work, bake sale, etc. We are a 501c3 and current legislation is moving to change the current 50% tax credit to 70% for food pantries!! Every dollar will help. We have 4 to 6 weeks to get this done!!

Second Blessings Team
We heard one of the Little Free Pantries was empty, so today Danny & Shawn (volunteers) went and put some things in. 
The right door is still broken, but I'm sure the Church will fix it soon. Located at Zion Church.
We have great respect and gratitude to our first responders. We were thrilled that our volunteer Chris was able to deliver to the amazing members of Union Fire Protection District several Hello Fresh meal kits, delicious Factor meals & desserts from Second Blessings today.

We will be CLOSED for food distribution on Tuesday Jan 27th due to weather.
When Union schools close, we too are closed, even if roads improve later in the day, we will still BE CLOSED.
